Design, create, and maintain a variety of websites. Work closely with clients to provide them with the most effective web solutions possible. Offered consultation advice regarding implementation of various web initiatives.

Washington State University Library Instruction Office | September 2002 – May 2003
Created online tutorials to teach students to use the library’s various online systems. Acted as a consultant to
offer advice and experience to create the most effective technical solutions for our online projects. Redesigned
old and outdated parts of Library Instruction’s websites.
Washington State University Distance Education Office | January 2005 – May 2005
Organized and restructured the 26,000 files that are present on the Distance Education Office servers. Performed
basic web maintenance on pages run by the Distance Education Office.

Washington State University Evolutionary Biology Lab | October 2006 – December 2006
Created an online presence for Dr. Michael Alfaro and the Evolutionary Biology Lab. Created a backend to the site

Acted as web-developer and consultant for WSU’s Library Systems office. Updated and redesigned websites
that hadn’t been worked on since the late 90’s. Worked closely with members of other library departments to
create websites that meet their online requirements.
- Developed online Task Management Software to facilitate managing the many online projects
being run utilizing PHP, Javascript, CSS, and MySQL

Worked extensively with Joomla: open source, PHP and MySQL based CMS software. Developed custom
components, mambots, and modules as part of a small development team. Extensively modified core Joomla code
to achieve custom solutions for clients.
