How much does a website cost?
This question is a little bit like asking: "how much does a house cost?". The quick answer is it that depends on what sort of site you need, and what sort of budget you have. Developing sites can be quite expensive if what you're trying to do is complicated, or if it is something that has never been tried before. A simple 10 page site with ccontent could be as low as 500 dollars depending on exactly what is needed, and obviouly there really is no upper limit.
What is a brochure website?
A brochure website is a non-dynamic site that displays static (non-changing) information. Essentially, it is the web version of a paper brochure you might find at a tourist kiosk. Theses sites are cheaper because there is much less programming involved, and might be considered a 'plain' website.
What is your rate?
I offer my webdevelopment services to my clients at the standard rate of $30.00.
Will I be able to manage my own site?
You bet. However, if you're feeling a little overwhelmed I do offer mothly management servies for a flate rate. This rate depends on what needs to be managed, and is negotiated with the client based on that.
How long will it take to build my site?
It depends on the site and overall complexity of your site, but most take between 1 week and 3 weeks.
Can I hire you to design my site and use my own web hosting?
Absolutely. I generally use thinkhost.com, a sustainable and progressive hosting company which meets my necessary system requirements. Please enquire first wether your web-host meets these requirements.
